basket of 6 May and 2 recipes
This Thursday, May 6, in our baskets, there were:
- 2Kg potato
- 2 beet
- 1Kg of
spinach - 750g Radish
- a bunch of parsley
- A bunch of cilantro
- a bunch of chives
- 1Kg Chou Cho-ho (Chinese cabbage that looks like Swiss chard)
With that basket very green, I found two recipes that my children eat vegetables.
Rice Pilaf Cabbage cho-ho:
Fry a chopped onion, shredded cabbage, too, in a little olive oil.
Then add rice and continue to cook over fairly high heat.
Add salt and pepper, place one or two tablespoons of curry.
Cover with water, put a lid.
low heat, without stirring, let the rice cook gently. Axelle
Justin and really liked ... they have taken over it's a sign!
Spinach Lasagna:
- Chop the spinach and saute in olive oil
- Make a light white sauce: Heat
goat's milk (or cow's milk if you fear a taste too strong )
In small bowl, mix a little cold milk and cornstarch
When milk is hot, reduce heat and stir in the preparation of the glass pan. The white sauce will thicken
especially as you move slowly, constantly, over low heat. When the white sauce has the consistency you like, mix a fresh goat cheese.
- In a flat rectangular to a background of bechamel, then a layer of lasagna noodles, then a layer of spinach, then a layer of bechamel, then a layer of pasta, then a layer of spinach, then ... Finally cover pasta for the bechamel.
Bake ...
This recipe is perfect for those who can not tolerate cow's milk protein ... but like the goat cheese.
Bon appetite!
