The first dive Sophie

(Move your mouse over the pictures for captions, and thank you for writing me at: nom.poisson @ orange.fr to help me identify the species not listed on my photos)

Sunday, January 11, 2009, we made contact with Jazz for us to organize a small friendly dive for the baptism of Sophie and Sandra, two daughters Didier.

Unfortunately, a poorly digested chicken will force Sandra to give a few hours before appointment. So
accompanied only by Sophie that the usual small team goes "Caribbean Beach" for prepare.

In Jazz, which the site is included in the links to my favorite sites (right below the slideshow), the dives are done without stress like this can sometimes be Malendure, where profitability seems to be the watchword.
With Jazz, it will bring a bottle yourself and get to his boat to swim, but the dives are much longer than in other clubs, and the atmosphere is more relaxed.

After launching rendered somewhat difficult by a strong surge towards the Pigeon Islands, which are not yet taken over by the clubs Maledure. We're getting there ares Navigation few minutes during which some safety tips on diving and are given to Sophie.

William and I are both divers Level 2, we leave together with Jazz for a little exploring before joining Sophie Didier and Dede few minutes later. William and I both have invested in a waterproof camera. It's a bit expensive to buy, but the device also serves as our camera once out of the water.

Jazz Under the boat, the fish are scrambling already. Well, we must also say that we are on the passage of the glass-bottomed boat, which attracts daily fish by throwing bread in its wake.

We therefore follow immediately from Jazz in the direction of "Big Blue"

Jazz, direction le Grand Bleu

We take this opportunity to make some pictures.

C'est moi, le webmaster du blog On our way, we encounter some fish. I'm sorry, I do not know all the names.

Dans l'eau, on peut aussi plâner It's my alarm computer Diving, suggesting the 3-minute address, which will make me realize that we reach the 40 meters.

Just a quick picture of 45 meters (see below) and we go back to the depths that allow us to avoid decompression of the bearings.

La surface, prise à 45 mètres de profondeur
We return then the Jazz boat to go retrieve the other divers.

While Jazz look back Sophie Didier and Dede, we take some pictures, but not too get away from the boat.
I prefer to anticipate bad reviews, I was not drunk and depths.

C'est par ici
Tête à l'envers That's it, everybody was in the water. I think Jazz should be trying to give the final instructions on the surface.

From the first meters, Sophie seems very comfortable under water.
A l'aise comme une Sophie dans l'eau Vous avez vu, je nage toute seule After a few minutes near the surface, it left for a visit underwater.

For William and me, it's been a beautiful dive since we spent 69 minutes underwater.
As usual, a few videos of the dive.
You will see a tropical sole as well as Sophie.
I hope you get to differentiate one from another.

For purists, my curve diving.
