Last week, 24 hours apart, the village had two deaths to mourn among the families we sponsor.
The little sister in infancy, Don Dee (Rom Vandy) passed away lightning and bloody diarrhea. Cause of infant mortality the most widespread in Cambodia. Unfortunately, no wonder, then.
The day before, more dramatic, the mother of Chan Tea died. The sudden illness that also involves vomiting of blood. Death before the age is part of family life miserable.
These two people are not victims of lightning attacks but lack of insurance. Poor people wait until the last moment to go to hospital and it's too late. Health should not be a flower that is poor, it is a human right.
